This document brings the experiences of BeMed awardees and their communities into the process of data visualization. “Small data” and data visualization are in fact seen as powerful approaches to make communities visible, and their stories to be heard. Statements contained in this white paper are backed by years of hands-on experience, lessons learned, and challenges taken on.
