To kick off the hotel working group, we are pleased to welcome a new, highly motivated hotel to the BeMed Business Club. Starting in June 2025, BeMed will offer online training for interested hotels to support their transition towards becoming zero single-use plastic establishments. Poseidonia Hotel will participate in the training and will be supported on the ground by the Cyprus Sustainable Tourism Initiative (CSTI).
This newly joined hotel is already actively engaged in sustainability efforts, ranging from energy and water savings to waste management and recycling. Now, they are ready to take it to the next level with BeMed method.
Their commitment reflects a broader understanding that a sustainability pledge is not only environmental, but also social and financial. The goal is to offer guests a guilt-free experience by going greener, without compromising on service quality or hospitality standards.
