TunSeaInspire: Educate, Clean, Create

Association Tunsea pour la science participative

The project aims to raise awareness and educate four Tunisian schools on the urgent issue of plastic pollution. It proposes a holistic approach integrating theoretical and practical training, with pupils actively involved at every stage. Students will conduct sampling campaigns to detect microplastics in their environment, followed by laboratory analysis. Beach clean-ups will also involve the students, followed by upcycling workshops transforming waste into works of art. The project aims to raise awareness of the impacts of plastic pollution, share scientific knowledge, and demonstrate the creative possibilities for reducing plastic waste, while valorizing the data collected by the students in scientific publications.
