- The installation of a water station which provides filtered, cold, and free water to the beach users ;
- The organization of a smoking area encouraging users to responsibly dispose of cigarette butts, which are the most commonly found pieces of beach litter worldwide;
- Installation of recycling bins on the beach;
- Installation of informative signs to encourage visitors to use the actions and be part of the solution not the problem ;
- Creation of an artwork to sensitize visitors about plastic pollution
- Organization of four staff trainings of the participating hotels and neighboring businesses to engage and inform them of the implemented actions to help increase the visitors’ awareness ;
- Organization of specific meetings with the neighboring businesses to create specific action plans on how they can reduce the consumption of single-use plastic in their businesses, in order to reduce the amount of plastic that ends up on the beach.
