The over-consumption of plastics generates large quantities of waste, threatening the environment and human health. To remedy this, it is essential to reduce their use, reuse or recycle them. As part of the “Ressacs sans plastiques (BeMed)” project in Al Hoceima National Park, Morocco, two tools were mobilized to help craftswomen devise solutions: design thinking and information and communication technologies (ICT). Design thinking, centered on the human being, encourages the creation of solutions adapted to users’ needs, by multiplying prototypes. ICTs, notably Facebook and WhatsApp, have facilitated exchanges and pedagogical support. The study revealed five levels of involvement for the participants: exposure, participation, identification, internalization and dissemination, according to Steinaker and Bell’s model (1979), demonstrating a concrete impact on their practices.
